Early Arrivals - OPTINAM

At Vallarta Yacht Club, we can expect to start seeing early arrivals for the Opti North American 2014 Championship.  Competitors, Team Leaders and Country Representatives will be arriving early to settle in and become familiar with the venue.  This is a very exciting time for these young sailors  and many of them may feel anxious about being thousands  of miles from home.  Please help welcome these competitors from 19 different countries. Those wishing to be part of the event can contact Linda Green at greenlr01@gmail.com

Opti North Americans 2014

Optinam 2014 Championship officially begins.  175 competitors from 19 countries will begin the measurement process for their boats and sails.  They will then compete for 6 days on the water to determine the North American Champion for Opti Class. On July 16, awards will be presented to the top competitors.

8th International Banderas Bay Fishing Tournament

The Vallarta Yacht Club has been choosen to be the headquarters location for the 8th edition of the International Banderas Bay Marlin and Tuna Fishing Tournament to be held on July 18 and 19. 2014. 

Come and enjoy the best fishing and fun. Registration of the fishing teams will take place on Friday July 18 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Vallarta Yacht Club. The day of fishing will take place on Saturday July 19. The "weighing in" will take place Saturday evening at the club followed by and awards ceremony for those the winners.
