Join your fellow racers after the ravenous and thirsty practice day racers for hamburgers or hot dogs (or chicken or fish sandwiches), along with beer or a mojito, at the VYC clubhouse. This will be open to everyone, and will include live music from Piratas Verdes !

Live music and seafood! What could be better? If you happen to have caught any fish during the event, be sure to bring them so that our kitchen staff can do their magic and turn them into fish tacos. Optimist North American Championship

This is the third time  that VYC has been host to the Optimist North American Championships. This year we will see 180 competitors from over 25 countries come to compete this important continental championship. We need volunteers! We have open volunteer positions onshore and on the water. Open House

Tuesdays are Open House from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, when we welcome new guests and our members to enjoy the air conditioning, 2 X 1 drinks, and great conversation with people who love boating, plus a lovely dinner later if you wish!  The public is welcome and we hope to see lots of members and guests Tuesday evening!

This will be our last weekly open house of the summer season (we will be having other Open House Happy Hours during the season, just not weekly). Come on down and give a great send-off to those cruisers who will be heading out!
