Juan Arias, the Paperman, will discuss arri al and departue procedures according to the newest legislation, both for international and national paperwork, including all paperwork related with the Port Captain, Immigration, Customs, International Health Department, and the Agricultural Department. Juan will also discuss TIPs, new or renewal with the same or different owner. Juan will also discuss temporary and/or permanent residence in Mexico.

Sailing for more than 40 years, VYC certified Race Officer and retired Telecommunications Engineer, Andy Barrow will explain how to build a chartplotting computer using inexpensve off-the-shelf components and free software.  Andy will also share how to create your own free, nautical charts using Google Earth, Navionics Web and other online sites.

Bring your laptop and thumb drive to downoad free navigation tools and local charts!
