Tour the most beautiful homes in the area, while supporting a good cause! Starting Nov 22, 2011 and continuing through March 27, 2012 you can tour a different home each week. The 3 hour tour visits 4 unique homes each weekand ends at a small family-owned local restaurant for an authentic tortilla-making demonstration by 88-year old “Mama Lucas,” with complimentary tortilla and salsa samples. Funds from the Home Tours directly support the charitable programs of PEACE including the community garden in Caloso, a mobile educational classroom, adult education classes and the Work for Food program. This annual meeting includes voting approval of Board of Directors for the upcoming season, plus updates on VYC activities and operations.
The Bucerias Bilingual Community Center offers Conversation Cafe every Saturday at 10:00 am. Practice your Spanish in a fun, casual atmosphere! Also, Spanish classes are offered weekly. Plus meditation, yoga and much more. Call 329-298-3527 for more information.
