Attention all fun-loving sailors! Our exciting Beer Can Races are back, kicking off on November 26th and happening every other week.
Whether you're here for the fast-paced action or to just enjoy getting out on the water with friends, this event is perfect for everyone. If you have a boat and need crew - www.vallartayachtclub.org - go to "On The Water" and check out our crew list.

Junior Sailing Fundraiser

🎶 Karaoke Night Fundraiser at VYC! 🎶
Bring your friends, family, and your best (or funniest!) singing voice for a night of fun & laughter. ALL to support the VYC Junior Sailing Program!

🎤 Karaoke starts at 6:00 PM - Sing or make your friends sing! Songs start at $50 MXN and UP.
🍽️ $600 MXN Donation includes a buffet dinner from 6:30–8:00 PM + 1 karaoke song
⚓ Live Auction starts at 7:00 PM — plus silent auction, raffle, kids’ games & more…!

Banderas Bay Blast / Pirates for Pupils Charity Spinnaker Run

The action-packed Banderas Bay Blast, three days of 'nothing serious' sailing fun as well as sailor socializing on land, is set for December 10-12, with the Pirates for Pupils Spinnaker Run on December 12. Sponsored by Latitude 38, Marina La Cruz, Punta Mita Yacht & Surf Club and Vallarta Yacht Club.

• Day 1: You'll start off La Cruz around noon and head to a mark off the Nuevo Nayarit breakwater, then back to finish at La Cruz.
• Day 2: Head up the coast to Punta de Mita and stay overnight, enjoying a party in the evening, including initiations into the Punta de Mita Yacht & Surf Club!
• Day 3: After a breakfast ashore and a presentation by local school kids, head downwind to Nuevo Vallarta for the Pirates for Pupils Charity Spinnaker Run and a Pirate's Party at Vallarta Yacht Club

Junior Sailing Lighted Boat Parade

Celebrate the magic of the season at VYC as our amazing Junior Sailors take to the water for a festive parade of boats, all decked out in twinkling holiday lights! 🌟 Come cheer on these talented young sailors as they proudly show off their holiday spirit and sailing skills. Bring your family, feel the joy, and share in the wonder of the season.

After the parade, enjoy a delicious holiday special at Picante Grill for $350 MXN including: Pozole and tamales to share! — the perfect finish to this special family event. 

BOXING DAY ON THE BEACH!

For years, our friends at the VYC Outstation El Coral Restaurant at Las Animas Beach have hosted our members on Christmas Day. This year, they have decided that they will close Christmas Day so their staff can be with their families this Christmas, which we wholeheartedly support! So, our traditional "Navidad en la Playa" is now BOXING DAY ON THE BEACH. We'll still head over to Las Animas Beach for a great time among friends, enjoying the warm water, the great beach, and the great food at El Coral Restaurant.

There are always boats with extra space for more passengers. We'll try to get there around noon. If you have extra space onboard, let Rudy know at 322 297-2222, or Dave at onthewater@vallartayachtclub.org. Likewise if you need a ride, just ask!
